Shell has announced 5 cents per pound increase on most aliphatic (Shellsol D-series) and aromatic solvents (100 & 150 solvent). We expect other manufacturers will follow.
Both Eastman and Lyondell are increasing glycol ether prices on August 1.
Alcohols and acetates
Huntsman has announced an increase on ethylene glycol ($0.01), diethylene glycol ($0.02) and triethylene glycol ($0.08). These increases will take effect on August 1.
All grades of the aforementioned ethanolamines will increase by 5 cents on August 1.
